Biography

Michalis Chondrokoukis (b. 2001) is a music producer and sound designer based in Athens. Through his project Apu Nanu, he creates left-field, forward thinking electronic music. Trained in both Eastern and Western music traditions, he is a multi-instrumentalist interested in exploring new approaches to digital composition and sound design.

He has composed original music for performances, choreographies, and exhibitions showcased at venues such as the Benaki Museum and the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, as well as having worked as a sound designer and composer across indie video game projects. Since 2024, he has performed live across major cities including London, Berlin, Tokyo, Shanghai, and in 2025 he performed at the Athens Epidaurus Festival.

He has also collaborated with internationally recognized brands including Splice, Valentino, and Open Foundry, contributing sounds and music for commissioned projects and campaigns.
